Since 1989, Oriental has proudly served Montreal from the heart of the Quartier Latin. Founded by a family who immigrated from India in the late 1980s, our mission has always been to share the beauty, traditions, and craftsmanship of India.
Over the years, we have become a Montreal institution, known for varied selection of incense, along with the largest collection of singing bowls across North America.
Through regular sourcing trips to India, we personally select our products and maintain long-standing relationships with artisans and suppliers, ensuring authenticity, quality, and unique discoveries. Our collection includes meditation and sound healing tools, Indian-inspired décor, clothing, jewellery, scarves, and much more.
As a family-run business, we pride ourselves on creating a warm and welcoming space where customers are treated like family. With a small but dedicated team, we work hard to keep products in stock, minimize backorders, and ship orders using repurposed packaging whenever possible.
